Our Story
From a small meetup group to the leading iOS development academy in the Philippines
2019: The Beginning
SwiftPH began as a small meetup group of iOS enthusiasts in Makati City. Founders Kristoffer Santos and Maria Cabalfin organized monthly coding sessions and knowledge-sharing events for local developers interested in Swift programming.
2020: First Workshop Series
Despite the pandemic, we pivoted to virtual workshops and launched our first structured series on Swift fundamentals. With over 50 participants, the success of these sessions demonstrated the high demand for quality iOS education in the Philippines.
2022: Official Launch of SwiftPH Academy
With additional funding and a growing team of instructors, we officially established SwiftPH Academy with a comprehensive curriculum covering Swift Fundamentals, UIKit, and iOS App Architecture. Our first cohort of 25 students achieved a 92% employment rate.
2025: Growing Impact
Today, SwiftPH Academy has trained over 400 iOS developers across the Philippines. We've established partnerships with 20+ tech companies and expanded our offerings to include specialized workshops, corporate training, and a thriving online community platform for continuous learning.
